Summer

   While I like the characteristics typical of each season of the year, I definitely prefer the summer. I think it's a pefect combination between heat, warm and cold. I like it because I can go without having to wear a sweatert or something more snug, I can walk with little pullover and feeling comfortable, not like now that I'm in between winter sweatshirts, coat, gloves, scarf and boots and I continuous feeling cold. I also think I prefer the summer because I love water, shower, pool, beach, drink it, in any way and nobody is saying to me "do not swim because if you go out with wet hair, you'll catch cold."
During the summer I love going to the gym, take a walk up the hill, go to the beach, enjoy the sand, sunbathing, listening to the waves, watching the sunset, walking at night through the port, see the stars in the sky, feel the cool refreshing on the skin ... I do not know, I think the summer is fine as long as you have something with water to cool, like a hose or a faucet xd 
I think everyone should enjoy the summer and relax as well as I do! What's wrong with being in the sun at the edge of the beach?

Hairstyle (H)

When we meet someone, the first impression of this people is about their physical appearance. Today it is important to us the clothes we wear, our dress, accessories and hair. The last topic is considered one of the most important to me, since according to our way of  hairstyling, is how we are identify in the society. However, it is difficult to maintain a beautiful hair, because when we go to the salon and we cut off only the tips, hairdressers don't pay attention and they cut more than we desired. For example, in my case the worst hairstyle I had was at 11 years old, because I used to have a very long hair and smooth, but very loud, so my mom decided to take me to the hairdresser and cut my hair extremely short , while only had like 4 centimeters of hair. It was sad because my cousins  bothered me and told me  that I looked like old girl and not like a 11 years old girl :'(
 The good news is that when my hair grew, because it was long and very curly, so as I have now and I love it, I think it is different from others: D

Michael Gove rules out 'two-tier' system under exam proposals

This news is about education in England and assessment system for children with learning problems.The education secretary, Michael Gove, has struck a conciliatory note over planned exam reforms in England which include a proposal to bring in a lower-level qualification for less able children. He thinks that a new reform in the evaluations of students with lower performance create a society of low expectations, so that students with learning deficits must adapt and work twice as hard compared to their peers. As a response to his statements, other ministers came out in defense of students, as there are some majeure force problems  that  necessarily need special tests. Gove said his proposed changes would "end the tiering of papers".

"We need to have higher expectations for all students." He criticised the division of GCSEs into two levels – higher papers and a foundation tier in which pupils can achieve a maximum of grade C. He also announced an acceleration of the academies programme, saying that every primary school in England that had been put in special measures or been given a notice to improve by Ofsted would become a sponsored academy.

Currently, 220 of the worst-performing primaries in the country are due to become academies. The new plan will affect more than 300 out of nearly 17,000 state primaries in England and Wales, the Department for Education said.

Gove said: "In the next year I want to extend our academies programme to tackle the entrenched culture of under-achievement in parts of the country where children are being failed."
                           

Pippi Longstocking!

I asked to many people about this series and no one knows, I think we were a few who went to bed late just to see Pippi with her long stockings. 


Pippi Longstocking is a Canadian production , based on a series of children's books drawn and written by Astrid Lindgren. The television series was produced by Nickelodeon UK. Pippi Longstocking is home at Villa Villekulla after being at sea with her father. He fell overboard during a storm and disappeared, but she thinks he is on a deserted island. Her mother died when she was a baby. Therefore Pippi lives alone at her home with her monkey and horse. She has extraordinary strength and a bag of gold, which helps her to live. She meets Tommy and Annika, who are her neighbors and they started to live different adventures. 


What I liked about Pippi was her incredible strength to lift heavy objects, including her pet that was a horse. I used to see this serie all night lying next to my mom, while my father slept. Although we both agree and we would like to transmit the return to television.


Now I was looking into this series I realized that it was based on books, that have made films, which has been broadcast in many countries and was very famous in its time.

My awesome tablet!

                                  

The truth is I'm not a big fan of technology, although I really like and enjoy it. My favorite piece of technology is my new tablet, I bought it two months ago and  was in the most unexpected way.

One day in class a classmate told me "I offered by internet a tablet" he showed me, I loved it and I quickly called my dad, he went to leave me the money to the university and I bought it!! I was too happy, at first I was not sure of the uses that I could give it, but now that I have I do not regret buying it! :D I use it every day and for all kinds of activities, listen to music, to check my mail, to study while I jog in the gym, to play, for many things. I like it because it is small and I can take it anywhere, is a compact accessory.

My life without the tablet would be totally different, because would have to walk with many objects, instead of one, like a camera, an mp3, games, computer, etc.

Buy the tablet was one of the best investments I've made this year! :D 

Some people say that a photograph can capture the essence of a moment, something magical that perhaps we are not able to perceive, but when we have the piece of paper in our hands, we realize that actually that picture is perfect.
That happens to me every time I look at this photo, I think there are many reasons why it is perfect for me. Maybe it's the place, we, the moment, the feelings, that night, that day ... I do not know!. I think it's a mix of everything,  first place... uufff! magical and unforgettable for us, the viewpoint of La Pirámide in Las Condes, second is the moment , because there were more people and my love was wearing a Christmas ribbon on his head because he was my Christmas present; third the moment that we took the photo was beautiful, romantic and perfect too; fourth feelings, maybe it's too much love we have and maybe this is not earthly; and finally, in the photo is he... he who made ​​me move from hatred to love in only one look, he flirted me,  he looked at me and wondered "what you feel when you see me?" and left me speechless. Yes, he is Ricardo Alejandro Porto Porto, my prince thief of my heart and my sighs. Almost a year and nine months together and I feel as if we had been in love yesterday. I love him with my life, I know that he is the gift that God had me guard and that make me happy :D <3

The Caribbean

 When I was a little girl my biggest dream was to travel to America and live with my cousin who already has his family there. I thought that if I lived in that country could go everyday to Disney World and visit the park again and again with princesses and my favorite disney. My only problem was the language, I liked very much English, but I did not know how to pronounce it, so I invented my own version of English. The funniest thing was when I phoned my cousin and I told him phrases in "English" and he said "Danielita, but you did not tell me anythig!" and I said "you do not know cousin, this is a very advanced English for you." I was only 7 years old so my inventions about language were understandable.
   Now a litle big older (just a little xd), my dream is going to travel to the Caribbean, because I love the beach, especially because there is like a paradise. I do not know much about this place of dreams, but I think that this is the purpose of a trip, find a know a new place. I'd like a holiday of relaxation in this place or maybe my honeymoon! Who knows, in this life anything can happen!!
